PLC Meeting Notes (3/06/14):

Things discussed at the PLC Meeting included:

· Luke Gonzales is in charge of an outing on Memorial Day weekend.

· There may be an outing to Fort Niagara for next year to start off things with a good outing. It will be pre-planned so things will run smoothly and will be from September 13th to the 14th. We need a scout leader to be in charge of this.

· More information to come on presenting the flags at a Red Wings game.

· The Rock Ventures outing is an overnight on March 15th led by Spencer Kennedy.

· March 17th is going to be the first night of the second round of Merit Badges. Included badges are: Environmental Science, Citizenship in the Community, and Family Life.

· March 10th is the date for the troop election. Only the SPL will be voted in. Once he is chosen, a separate committee will decide on the rest of the leadership team for next year.

· Changes will be made to increase the efficiency of the meetings.

· Scouts could email the troop email with a list of merit badges they have partials in and various counselors could come in and sign off requirements that they have completed at home.
