Lots of news as we enter the last few weeks of the Scouting year.
  • We had a wonderful backyard overnight in the thunderstorms of June 1. 8 band new cross-over Scouts and 4 new parents participated and all had a good time finishing the Scout Award,  tying knots, learning first aid, cooking turkey burgers, and torching marshmallows. Special thanks to Timo Krapf and Spencer Kull for helping out.

  • Pictures and videos are now posted form Whiter Water Kayaking, the Webster Park Camp-out, and the Memorial Day Parade.  Check them out here.

  • June 7 (Friday night) - Mendon Ponds camp-out. Meet at the Youth Camping area of Mendon Ponds. Eat before you come.  We will supply breakfast and lunch. On Saturday we will attend the ADK Outdoor Expo at the Beach Area of Mendon Ponds. Link to Mendon Ponds map.

  • June 8 (Saturday) - ADK Expo on Saturday June 8 from 9:00 - 4:00 at the Beach Area of Mendon Ponds.  Link to ADK Expo website.  Come help us build a signal tower. There is also a lot to see at the ADK Expo, which is free and very interesting. Come for a few hours if you can't make it for the whole day.

  • June 10 (Monday) - Pasta Dinner and Court of Honor at the Kings Bend Park south Lodge. Pasta dinner begins at 6:00 and the Court of Honor begins at 7:00. Congratulation to Andy Napolitano who will be receiving his Eagle Scout Award that night.

  • June 16 (Sunday) - "Flight of Eagles" COH featuring Kilian Bestram, Zach Desmann, Jon Dickinson, Timo Krapf, and David Wideman. The COH will be held at the Perinton Presbyterian Church, 6511 Pittsford Palmyra Road (route 31), Fairport, NY 14450.  The doors open at 1:30 and the ceremony begins at 2:00.  Food at the reception afterwards. We know this is Fathers' Day but would love to see you there. Lots of memories and something for the youngest boys to look forward to.

  • Massawepie - the Massawepie leadership team is organizing a pre-camp meeting for those who are new to summer camp. In the meanwhile, please check out the Massawepie Page on the troop website. There is a lot of valuable information there. If you haven't signed up for merit badges yet, contact Mr. Kallman or Charlie Shuman immediately.
