Brief Description:

We are going to Massawepie for the Massawepie Adirondack Challenge. Activities include: Skiing and tubing at Mt. Pisgah, ice fishing, a tour of the Wild Center, snowshoeing, and other winter outdoor activities.

Cost per scout

$60 – Rebate TBD PAYMENT IS DUE MONDAY DEC. 16, 2013

Sign Up Deadline:

A check made out to Troop 341 and the permission slip above must be returned to the scout leader or adult adviser by 12/16/13

Late fee:

If a scout wishes to attend a troop event after the registration date has past they must first contact the Scout Leader to see if there is any space available to attend. If there is a minimum 50% late penalty may be paid to attend the event. Depending on the event and any specific costs related to having the event an additional flat fee may be added onto the standard 50% penalty fee.

General Overview

Where: Massawepie Scout Camp- Gannett Lodge

When: January 17th- 20th Martin Luther King Day Weekend.

What: Stay at Massawepie and Experience the Adirondacks in the winter. Stay in heated Gannett Lodge or bring your cold weather gear and give the Voyageur lean-to a try. Guided activities will be planned for the entire weekend. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in any and all events that they are interested in.

Activities include: Skiing and tubing at Mt. Pisgah, a tour of the Wild Center (The Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks), ice fishing, snowshoeing, and other winter outdoor activities.

Weekend fee is $60.00 which includes: Lodging, meals (Saturday breakfast thru Monday lunch), one ticket to Mt. Pisgah, one ticket to the Wild Center, patch, and all other activities throughout the weekend.
