Cooperstown & Clark Sports Center Still Under Construction

Desc:Camp overnight at BSA Camp Henderson and LOTS of fun & exercise at the Cooperstown Clark Sports Complex. Also, we will go to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Cost per scoutThis will be calculated by using the standard Event Planning Spreadsheet available on the troop website.
Sign Up DeadlineA check made out to Troop 341 and the permission slip above must be retuned to the scout leader or adult advisor by February 6th, 2012 
Late FeeIf a scout wishes to attend a troop event after the registration date has past they must first contact the Scout Leader to see if there is any space available to attend. If there is a minimum 50% late penalty may be paid to attend the event. Depending on the event and any specific costs related to having the event an additional flat fee may be added onto the standard 50% penalty fee. 
General Overview
  • Drive to Cooperstown Friday evening, eating dinner on the road.
  • Set up camp at Henderson BSA campground. Sleep in lean-tos (up to 20 scouts). Additional participants may need to sleep in tents.
  • Saturday morning cook breakfast, play group games and cook lunch.
  • Saturday afternoon, enjoy indoor Clark Sports Complex from 1-5pm (bowling, swimming, racket sports, basketball, rock climbing wall, ping-pong, etc).

  • Saturday evening cook dinner, reflect on day's events, and enjoy a campfire.
  • Sunday morning: Cook breakfast
  • Hold a Souts Own service then either explore town further, play group games, or visit a museum (as weather dictates).
  • Cook lunch.
  • Break camp and leave for Pittsford in early afternoon.
