As this is your first year participating in our Annual Tree Sale, here is some important  information:

  1. This is our only fundraising event (we don't sell popcorn), so it is a very important event in running our troop and staying financially healthy.

  2. There will be an information session at the Troop Meeting on 11/18/13 and everyone should be there.

  3. We expect everyone to participate in the set-up on Nov. 24 from 12:00 - 4:00 and to help when the trees are delivered on Nov. 27 at 2:00. Warm clothes, work gloves, and cordless drills/screwdrivers are always needed at the set-up.

  4. This year the sale will run from Nov. 29 - Dec. 22. Shifts will be assigned and you can expect to have 2-3 shifts. Both Scout and one parent must attend the shift. As a new scout, you will be paired with at least one older Scout who will act as the shift leader and help you throughout the shift.

  5. If you cannot attend a scheduled shift, it is your son's responsibility to contact another Scout directly (not through the troop email system) to make an exchange of shifts.  Believe it or not, this actually works quite well - I'm always amazed.

  6. We plan to post and update shift schedules on the website this year to better organize the process. We have emailed roster with names and contact information. If you don't have this, please let us know.

  7. Nathaniel Topham is the Scout in charge. All questions should be addressed to him.
